Did you hear that WHOOSHING sound? Yeah?
I think that was September passing by.
But seriously, how is it the end of another month already?
As quickly as September flew by, I did manage to find a few gems that stood out this month. So without further ado, here’s a round up of some of my favorite and more notable things I found this month.
A New Day Tote Handbag
Target recently revamped some of their brands in the clothing and accessories section and I kid you not, this handbag and I, well, it was love at first sight. This is what I like to call a briefcase for women. When I saw this bag, I knew it was going to be perfect for work and is the bag I’ve been looking for for months. It holds a ton while maintaining its shape and is stylish as well. The bag has three compartments, the two on the outside are zippers that are perfect for storing a small laptop, files and papers, or a tablet. The middle pocket has a magnetic closure and is also very spacious. If you’re looking for a bag that will become a classic staple in your wardrobe but is also completely functional, check this out!
Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask
Ever wonder what it’s like to smear pumpkin pie all over your face? Well, why not do that, but in the form of a face mask that is also great for your skin? I had a sample of this mask from a kit last Christmas and I missed it, so off to Ulta I went to purchase the full size of this mask and it’s every bit as good as I remember! This mask is the perfect fall treat that helps exfoliate and resurface your skin. Three to seven minutes later, your skin will be smooth and refreshed. I will say, this is an intense mask, so if you have more on the side of sensitive skin, I would use this closer the the three minute mark. This has become a regular mask that I use twice a week and it’s one I can totally see myself keeping in my skincare routine. I love the effect it has on my skin and love the results I’ve seen so far.
College Football Season
It’s back! The time of year where it’s acceptable to yell at the tv, just me? I doubt it. 🙂 College football is hands down one of my favorite times of the year. While I’m a huge Alabama football fan, you can pretty much find me on the couch watching any SEC football game all day, every Saturday while sporting one of many college football t-shirts. As if the games weren’t already fun, my family also likes to add in game day meals and they’re something I look forward to every week. There’s nothing like eating a good meal themed around one of the week’s games, watching football, and cheering on your favorite teams. Sign me up every Saturday from now till New Years.
I have wanted one of these cinema lightboxes since they became popular several months ago. But they can be pretty expensive depending on where you get one. Since this seems to be more of a trendy item, I didn’t want to spend a whole lot of money, but I needed one. I mean, look at it, it’s so cute!. I found this one at Walmart for $10! Yup. That’s right $10. I am really looking forward to changing out phrases over the next several months with all the holidays coming up! It adds a cute and different vibe to the room and I love it!
That’s a wrap on my September favorites. Here’s to finding new favorite in October!
