Halloween is right around the corner, and while trick or treaters are busy picking out their costumes, is your front porch in need of a spooky Halloween makeover? You will be the talk of the neighborhood for having the coolest porch this Halloween!

I mean, seriously.

I have the perfect DIY for you!

And the best part? All you need is large gray or black trash bags, scissors, a curtain rod that will fit between pillars on your front porch and some pipe cleaners (optional)!

To create the streamers, cut the trash bags into strips. But do not cut through the bottom seam of the bags! This is where you will later slide the curtain rod in so that they have something to hang off of.

Once you have the desired amount of streamers, it is time to slide the bags onto the curtain rod. Depending on how windy it is outside, you may want to secure the trash bag seam around the curtain rod with some pipe cleaners.

Now it’s time to hang it up!

And when the wind blows? You get a rustling sound that sends a spooky vibe!
