Holiday Season Bucket List

The Christmas Season is my favorite but it always flies by leaving me at the New Year wondering just where all of December went and realizing I didn’t do half of the things I wanted to do to enjoy the holidays.

Enter the Holiday Season Bucket List! These are popular to make. But the trick is actually doing the things that are on the list! ‘Tis the Season to be festive! Grab your favorite pen, some paper, and stickers if you’d like and let’s get to writing our list of things so the Holiday Season doesn’t pass us by! What’s on my list this year?

Deck the Halls

Decorate EVERYTHING! There’s nothing I love more at the start of the Holiday Season than spending a day decorating and hanging up lights everywhere!

Mail Holiday Cards

Each year I think, “wow, wouldn’t it be nice to be someone who is so on top of things that they think about mailing holiday cards sooner than three days before Christmas?” I want to be that person this year. It’s always fun to get something in the mail, right? At least I get excited.

Holiday Playlist

THE MUSIC. Oh goodness. Don’t even get me started on how much I LOVE Christmas music. Yes, I am that friend. I listen all the time. November 1st, right on through Christmas. All day, everyday. I want to make my own playlist this year instead of listening to pre-made playlists.

Bake Cookies

Pretty self explanatory. What’s the holidays without a bit of baking? Sugar cookies are my weakness. I can’t stay away. Make them cute with sprinkles and that’s it! I’ll eat 10 before I’ve realized what I’ve done.

Holiday Market Shopping

I think it would be fun to visit some type of holiday market. Or even a little local store that I usually don’t visit just to peruse the Christmas decorations. After all, that’s usually where you can find really cute one of a kind things for decor pieces or gifts!

Holiday Crafting

What kind of crafter would I be if I didn’t make at least one thing this season? My goal: spend a snowy afternoon watching a Christmas movie on Netflix while crafting the day away. Yeah. That sounds wonderful!

Holiday Coffees

First of all, I love coffee. Second of all, add in holiday flavors and I’ll drink like 3 coffees a day. I run on festive coffee drinks from September right on through the New Year. I recently made a holiday-themed coffee bar and am looking forward to all the wonderful peppermint-scented-caffeinated beverages that are going to come out of my Ninja Coffee Bar machine. Plus, it’s an excellent excuse to have Reddi-Wip in the house on the regular!

Wrap Gifts

All I’m going to say is, “don’t wrap on Christmas Eve. Don’t wrap on Christmas Eve.” Think it will work? Maybe. Hopefully. Fingers-crossed!

Walk in the Snow

What could be more peaceful and Christmasy, than going for a walk in the snow!

Eat a Candy Cane

Let’s face it. This will turn into eat a whole box of candy canes! I discovered last winter the magic of putting a candy cane in your coffee or hot chocolate. Life changing! Seriously, if you haven’t tried it yet, you should. You’re welcome!

Buy an Ornament

For the last several years, I’ve made a point to purchase an ornament. It’s become a bit of a personal tradition that I started and it’s one that I really have come to enjoy! There’s something so fun and magical about searching for that one special ornament to add to the tree each year.

How about you? What’s on your list of favorite things to do during the Holidays?

🙂 Rochelle
